The views of the client are our prime concern and the starting point in our collaboration; through listening we deliver visions and goals effectively. We make comment and offer criticism when it is constructive, correct and appropriate to do so. Our key objectives are the removal of obstacles and effective team motivation. We are accountable for our actions, and deliver where others fail. Whilst some deliberate and far too many more deviate, our ability to 'do' is an important and rare asset. Once 'done' it is time to hand over and depart, secure in the knowledge that we did what had to be done. For over 20 years we have been providing technical assurance, procurement, project management and service management experts on large scale IT change projects.
X-Net reaches out to achieve objectives that others cannot meet.
The technical design and development practice comprises three principal capabilities, enterprise architecture, network infrastructure and cloud services. We have experience of demand and supply-side delivery with projects in the range of £10k-£400k and on programmes of work of up to £700m.
Practice members have, on average, 20 years of experience within the services market place. Many of the more senior members have had direct budget and delivery responsibilities for over £100m of expenditure. All staff have experience of working on public sector projects, including such activities as design reviews, gateway processes, risk analysis, disaster recovery, security, interoperability standards, test and validation, technical assurance and intervention reviews. Without ties to external suppliers, we are able to operate and deliver unbiased views and, due to corporate product allegiance, have access to supplier information that would not normally be allowed.
Staff are encouraged to develop and follow their own subject speciality, either within a technical discipline or in the business sector.
We have proven track record over the past 20 years covering:
The public sector choose to use us because we have the right balance of supply and demand experience, understand the impact of change on complex enterprise environments and are vendor-independent.
Feedback received from the public sector includes:
“My experience is that they have a good understanding of our business drivers, both in terms of short-term strategic issues and long-term strategy.”
“I have found that X-Net has a first class relationship with our customers, senior civil servants and their work colleagues.”
“…carry significant technical knowledge from the market place, other government department work and a clear understanding of current industry trends and drivers.”
“The products and output they provide is of excellent quality and in several areas they act as our representative.”
